Reading is an activity that we do without realizing it. However, acquiring a reading habit is something else. I remember that when I was young, reading was an effort and it was not an attractive activity. However, this has changed over time.
My first years in school, reading was a must. We took turns reading the same reading or the same book. And it is true that sometimes it was fun, but being a child and reading out of obligation took away pleasure.

Fortunately nowadays we have the opportunity to choose different types of readings, different types of texts, books, magazines, etc. depending on whether we read in our own language or in a foreign language.
